- extend time #NZDefence staff can be used as public service scabs from 14 to 30 days;
- expand criteria for #NZDF staff to do NZDF civilian work.

Threat of climate change downgraded in defence force plan The governments blueprint of how it will invest $12 billion over the next four years into the New Zealand Defence Force mentions climate change twice.

Under Defence Minister Judith Collins #ClimateChange has been all but eliminated from #NZDefence threat assessment. Has Crusher Collins sorted #ClimateEmergency or merely censored and put blinkers on NZDF? Is she abandonning Pacific nations to #ExtremeWeather?
