This Intel Raptor Lake network appliance supports up to 8 x 2.5 Gb LAN ports (or 2 x 10 Gb and 4 x 2.5 Gb) CWWK has updated its line of "soft router" "or firewall appliance" mini PCs with new models powered by Intel Raptor Lake processors that come with a lot of high-speed networking ports. There's a model with an Intel U300E processor and eight 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports, as well another model that has six LAN ports: four 2.5 GbE ports, and two SFP cages with 10 Gigabit speeds.

Radxa E24C and E54C are small, cheap fanless PCs with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and Rockchip processors Radxa recently launched two small fanless PCs designed for use as routers or for other applications where you might want a system with four Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Radxa E24C is a cheaper, lower-performance model that features a Rockchip RK3582 quad-core processor and support for up to 8GB of RAM, while the Radxa E54C looks nearly identical, but comes with up to 32GB of RAM and has much faster Rockchip RK3582 hexa-core chip.

“Micro firewall” mini PCs now available with up to Intel Core 3 N355 Twin Lake chips Intel's new "Twin Lake" processors are low-cost, low-power chips designed for entry-level computers. The first PCs powered by the chips started to arrive late last year, including systems made for use as firewalls, routers, or other networking appliances. Up until recently most of those systems were powered by a 6-watt, quad-core Intel N150 processor. Now we're starting to see systems with up to a 15-watt, octa-core Intel Core N355 chip.

These fanless mini PCs combine Intel N150 chips with four 2.5 GbE LAN ports The Intel N150 processor is a new Alder Lake-N chip that's basically what you get if you crank up the top CPU and GPU speeds of the Intel N100 processor. Intel hasn't officially announced the new processor yet, but a growing number of mini PC makers are already selling systems powered by the new chip. Now it looks like network appliance makers are also tapping Intel's new chip.
