So Phoenix had a big ole reading slump in October. And also managed to read progressively less good books as the month went on!

I felt like I’d read/finished very little in October, due to podcasts and busyness, finishing long books into the next months. But the audio dramas make it look respectable!

October Reading Wrap-Up!! Hi Bookish Friends, Hope you've all been well! If you've been following me for a while, you'll know I stopped doing monthly reading updates some time ago, and as you know, I've been a little quiet on the blog lately due to health issues, family commitments, and life in general. But amidst the chaos, I have still been reading and thought I would share a quick post about all the books I read in October!

I've been quiet on the blog lately due to health issues, family commitments and life in general. But despite the chaos, I've been reading and wanted to share the books I finished in October!

These are the books I finished reading in Oct 2025. I seemed to have a theme going since three of the books displayed red prominently on the cover and one of those even included the word red.

Another month gone and I’ve just surpassed my initial goal of 75 books read in 2025. Should I push for 100?

Two new reads this month and I loved them BOTH! Don't make me choose! I also indulged in some comfort reads between all the wiring and editing i did this month.

These books all make me so happy!!!

October reads! I had a really good time with the first 5 books of the Wayward Children series. Unique, quirky and I was pleasantly surprised to be a little spooky, perfect for the month of October. #octoberreads #booksky

#Booksky #OctoberReads were spookier than what the reviews give I promise lol. there was just a ton of 4⭐ ratings and only two books that cracked through that ceiling, with Angel Down being an absolute highlight for the month.
