I just used the online ID function as described in the letter: to purchase a phone SIM card and verify the identity online.
The phone carrier’s service used Deutsche Post’s #PostIdent service to read the ID card.
It took a few attempts to transfer the data because the NFC chip is sensitive.

Ein rein editierter FETTER Pfeil in ROT Zeigt auf einen kleinen Link am unteren rand: "hier die AusweisApp starten". Dieser Link öffnet direkt die AusweisApp des Bundes, die POSTIDENT App wird auf diese Art und weise nicht benötigt. Der Autor konnte so das verfahren auf einem gerooteten Handy(also mit Admin rechten) ausführen.
Für alle denen noch auf die nerven geht das 🤬 #POSTIDENT sich weigert auf einem #Android Gerät mit #root zu laufen:
Einfach auf der Desktop Seite wo ihr zum Scannen vom Code aufgefordert werdet ganz unten auf den kleinen Link klicken und zack die #AusweisApp öffnet sich und der Prozess geht einfach
Schon mal jemand erfolgreich bei #WebID eine Online Verifizierung durchgeführt? Bei vier Versuchen vier unterschiedliche Akzente der Mitarbeiter, null Motivation, schlechte Netzwerkverbindung, Endresultat ist jetzt neuer Versuch bei #PostIdent.
