#PS50 RADA spoke about violations of freedom of association and assembly, equality & non-discrimination of #YoungPeople. They urged #Belarus to ensure full accessibility in #education for #students with disabilities & reinstate educational deferments for students studying abroad.
#PS50 Coalition of Fem Queer Initiatives Belarus raised concerns on the situation of #LGBTQ+ people & recommended that #Belarus repeal discriminatory laws against them, adopt comprehensive anti-discrimination protections & ensure equal access to healthcare and reproductive rights
#PS50 Belarusian Helsinki Committee advocated for #freedom of assembly and association, for independent media and #FairTrial. They call on #Belarus to end the forced liquidation of #CSOs, end the repression of journalists and ensure the independence of the judiciary.
#PS50 Legal Initiative talked about prevention and criminalization of #torture. They recommended that #Belarus conduct impartial investigations into all acts of torture and to establish an independent national mechanism with the mandate to receive complaints.
#PS50 BKDP addressed the lack of freedom of association in labour relations, the non-cooperation with ILO & the state-run system of forced labour in prisons and medical-labour treatment centers. They call on #Belarus to restore all trade unions & end repression against workers.
#PS50 Human Constanta Association addressed political prisoners, #DigitalRights, #Migrant and #HRD in #Belarus. They urged Belarus to fulfill international obligations to protect migrants' rights, repeal current anti-extremist legislation as inconsistent with #InternationalStandards
#PS50 CONCORDIA Bulgaria Foundation addressed #ChildPoverty, #SocialProtection, right to #education, equal opportunities and alternative care. They urged #Bulgaria to expand free meal programs in high-poverty municipalities and close legislative gaps related to online abuse
#PS50 Ombudsman Republic of #Croatia raised concerns on protection of #HRDs, racial discrimination, #SocialProtection & access to health. They recommended that Croatia increase social benefits, reduce poverty among #OlderPersons & expand access to affordable long-term care
#PS50 Franciscans International spoke about the #Environment & #MigrantsRights. They call on #Croatia to ensure that polluters are held accountable, to apply good practices of waste management & to restructure the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund management to assist NGOs
#PS50 Human Rights House Zagreb addressed #FreedomOfExpression and assembly, #CivicSpace & hate speech. They urged #Croatia to lift disproportionate restrictions on assemblies and ensure legal safeguards for #HRDs against harassment

#PS50 Diversand Andorra habló de los derechos humanos de las personas #LGBTIQ+ en #Andorra. Instó a implementar el decreto de atención sanitaria trans, proteger a personas intersex y capacitar obligatoriamente al personal sanitario en diversidad de género.
#PS50 Stop Violències habló sobre desafíos en derechos civiles en Andorra. Pidió revisar leyes que generan violencia estructural, garantizar reparación integral a defensoras y fortalecer mecanismos para proteger derechos y libertad de expresión.
#PS50 NHLC denounced the criminalization of poverty and non-respect of dignity in the #USA. They urged the USA to guarantee adequate #housing for all, divest from carceral systems, invest in universal #healthcare, and repeal laws that punish marginalized communities.
#PS50 Center for Constitutional Rights raised concerns surveillance used to repress expression in the #USA. They urged repeal of abusive counterterrorism laws, an end to NGO funding cuts and protection for political dissenters
#PS50 The ERA Coalition spoke about women & girls' rights, constitutional sex equality, child marriage, FGM and online sexual exploitation. They called on the #USA to implement the #EqualRightsAmendment & to enact laws that set the minimum age of marriage at 18 without exceptions
#PS50 @WilliamsPolicy - UCLA School of Law raised concerns about the situation of #LGBT people. They urged the #USA to prevent aid cuts from harming vulnerable groups and to protect the health and safety of LGBT people and people with HIV in detention.
#PS50 National Right to Food Community of Practice talked about social & economic protections, #climate & #environment. They recommended that #USA increase public spending for nutrition assistance programs, support small-scale food producers & protect rights of #IndigenousPeoples
#PS50 WCC spoke about sexual and gender-based violence, gender inequality and climate justice in #Jamaica. They recommended that Jamaica ratify the Escazú Agreement, conduct climate impact assessments on vulnerable groups and tackle workplace harassment
