My work-in-progress doily lies on my black desktop. This doily is crocheted beginning with the color purple at the center, visible in the center-top-right and fading through blue to green at the edge visible at the left side and bottom. There are several flower petal shapes visible in the positive and negative spaces of the center which give way to one completed pineapple and one large fan pattern so far.

This was the only time I shot with this model. I did plan to shoot with her again, but I then met Belle and she became my muse.
I don't normally do black and white (or sepia) but this just seemed to fit the bill really well.

I received these glass cat eye #beads today for this parasol ☂️ Usually I’d #crochet beads on, but these must be sewn.
This is my oldest parasol at 3 years. I don’t think I have another over a year old. I hope these lovely beads will add the right spice to this creamsicle-esque #parasol.
