This was one of my all-time favorite tracks and videos when I was a kid. I mean, at the time, I had really no idea at all how often remnants of this would seep into my later work decades and decades later and even still today! lol

Planet P Project’s debut album playing on my turntable. The album cover has a reversed (in other words negative) image of an androgynous person with ransom-note style facial features (eyes and mouth are pasted in place). The background is black and in the left hand side there is a 3D wireframe of a globe.
This is both exactly what I expected, and at the same time nothing like what I expected.
So far, I like it… but I’m not sure if it’s good, y’know?
I think it would appeal to people who like Journey and Depeche Mode in equal measure.
