The annoying part about switching to dark mode: it actually takes a lot of config if you care about consistency. Every app has a different background shade and they can really clash 😅

Ever since updating to #CosmicDE I've had this issue where if I lock or put things in sleep...I can't use Firefox or Librewolf. Everything contained in/around the address bar and menus doesn't respond. Anyone else having that issue? Any solves?

Trying Cosmic DE on PopOS 24.04. Still has some bugs on text compose feature, but loving the auto tiling windows. #popos
COSMIC hit 1.0.6 today. Weekly releases since December.
Pop!_OS is still on Ubuntu repos from April 2024. The desktop moves at rolling-release speed. The base system can't keep up.
So I moved COSMIC to Arch.

System76 just dropped the COSMIC Epoch 2 and 3 roadmap. This desktop is moving fast. Too fast for Ubuntu LTS repos. The math doesn't work. I run COSMIC on vanilla Arch instead.

Jakože prostě stačilo otevřít COSMIC Store, nainstalovat Steam, nainstalovat hru a ono to funguje? Wtf? 🙃 Zatím jsem teda zkusil jen Mini Metro a tam jsem problém nečekal, ale stejně… Je neuvěřitelný, jak se v tomhle Linux posunul.
