All of us have earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and ribbons, and Margo has glasses.” April: "Beh cahful wit’ meh pearls, tha’r gen-win pearls o’ de Cape Cod quahogs!" Panel II *the Tetrad’s hair are put into beehives* Gilda: "So, girls, how ‘bout after our performance, we hit the buffet? You know I love me a Nephropolitan taco!" Wendy: "The ice cream with the waffle shells, right?" Gilda: "Yep. That’s them." Margo: "I’ll be having a soda and French fries." April: "Ah’d prefah weh’d gae tae th’ Wilkins’ fer coffeh ‘n daenuts, but a’ight ‘en." Panel III *the Tetrad have their makeup done* Wendy: "You know, funny story about Nephropolitan. Apparently, when Dolly was ten, Roz and Maddie pranked her by eating all the strawberry section and leaving only the vanilla and chocolate. At least she says it happened." Gilda: "I believe it." April: "’at soonds vahreh impra’cal." Panel IV *the Tetrad’s accessories are put on* Gilda: "And after we eat, we can burn off the calories on the dance floor! Or take turns on the Centipede cabinet." Wendy: "I’ve seen your hundred-K on the machine at Koko’s, ‘GGG’." Margo: "You’re just suggesting that game because you’re so damn good at it!"
Panel V *the Tetrad’s looks are complete, and they take the stage, in reverse tail size order* Gilda: "Living in a permaculture commune *does* give a sow a hatred for pests. Ready?" April: "Aye!" Wendy: "Ready!" Margo: "As I’ll ever be!" Panel VI *the performance. The Tetrad are singing a Grunvalified version of 'The Boy From New York City' by… originally the Ad-Libs, but the audience probably knows Manhattan Transfer version.
