Wednesday, Project Positivity Day 349: I fixed my phone all by myself! My screen had cracked and the display was having serious problems. I was able to order a new screen kit online for a lot less than a new phone, and find a couple of very useful videos. #ProjectPositivity #GoodThings

The sky is that dark shade of blue right after sunset. A house on the left still has Christmas decorations up: luminary lanterns on their roof, light-up reindeer and gnomes in their front yard. In an intersection in the distance is a huge crowd of people, completely filling the road in all directions. In the foreground, groups of people are walking on the sidewalks and in the street between parked cars to join them.
Yes, there's video (played on Fox of all places, among others), and it's pretty clear that what they're claiming (self-defense) isn't what really happened. Finding something positive is awfully hard. But as the saying goes, we still have to chop wood, carry water. 🧵

Easter Sunday, #ProjectPositivity Day 81. For the first time in a week, I didn't need to use my cane or knee brace once all day! Did I do much? No. It was a very low-energy day. But I'll still take it as a win! #GoodThings

#ProjectPositivity Day 55: First bike ride of the season! Just a trip to the hardware store for a home repair project (yes, I looked very silly biking with a sheet of plexiglass sticking out of my backpack), but it felt good to brush off the dust and get air in the tires. #GoodThings #SignsOfSpring

In the close of the golden hour as sunset creeps closer, a mishmash of silver maple branches are dotted with fluffy white-and-red clusters limned in golden light. There are some boring buildings behind the branches, but whatever. It's the flowers that matter.

Instead of shoveling, she found it was easier and more effective to grab huge chunks of snow with her hands and yeet them gleefully over the fence. Cracked me up. #GoodThings #Winter
