I guess I'm not too surprised. Quilting is kind of "traditional womanly craft/hobby" for maga. But if you look at some of the quilts from the recent #Quiltcon, you'll see plenty of protests quilts here. Not sure if your wife has an account, but #Quiltsky is here is she wants to expand her community.

Finishing a king size quilt for my daughter. I agree that all quilts entail levels of detail and art, but many quilts at #Quiltcon would qualify for museum pieces.
