So I'm going to apologize for double dipping on #RandomGameSaturday. Bad form, I know
So I'm still slowly unpacking and I find this. Apparently, I didn't just buy the Zeus. I also bought the first Carnage Heart. Guys, this has a 60 page manual wtfff I can't read this. And Artdink 10 yr soundtrack?
A photo of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the Nintendo GameCube. The cover is gold and has a kid with a shield on his back sailing on a boat with a dragon head. The logo has "The Legend of Zelda" in red and the subtitle "The Wind Waker" in yellow. There is a shadow of a boad with a dragon head as part of the logo and blue ocean waves below the shadow.
As a sequel to my last #RandomGameSaturday post, I'm going with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
From day one, I enjoyed the idea of playing a Zelda game that feels like experiencing a cartoon about sailing to different places.
Also, Link's fast-paced moves and combos was also a nice feature.
Today's #randomgamesaturday title is Heavenly Guardian for the Wii (also PS2). I believe this was originally conceived as a new Kiki Kaikai/Pocky & Rocky but then Taito was devoured by Square-Enix and so they had to pivot to making it an original ip.

One on the few times Corpse Party got a physical release in the West
Happy #RandomGameSaturday. Today I grabbed the DOS version of Flashback, which is my original copy.
QRT: Zombie Revenge is great :D I think it’s under-appreciated. It’s one of the ones I played in the arcade prior to the DC launch.
Screw it. #RandomGameSaturday is Sneakers.
Posting another one for the #randomgamesaturday hashtag
New pickup actually lol got it yesterday! A gem from Konami’s golden age! Shadow of destiny #retrogaming
Front Mission 3 for PlayStation 1
It's #RandomGameSaturday and I randomly pulled Front Mission 3 off the shelf. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard it's good.
#RandomGameSaturday
A bit of a celebratory one. My inauguration of my Nintendo Switch 2. Cyberpunk 2077 did indeed have a rocky launch back in December of 2020. Since then, I would argue it has become as close to the game the game it was meant to be as humanly possible. Excited to play on Switch 2
The front of the box for E-Motion on the Atari ST.
The back of the box for E-Motion on the Atari ST.
I hope I’m not too late for #RandomGameSaturday. If I remember correctly this had one of the better-sounding bits of pre-STE sampled music on the ST (or at least it still sounds good in my head).

A spin-off of House of the Dead 2, Zombie Revenge is a 3D Beat-em-up, similar to Dynamite Cop!, but with a horror theme, and Risk/Reward Gun Mechanics - you can fire willy-nilly, or charge your shot for massive damage - at the risk of getting hit!

THPS3 retained the excellent, expressive Score-Attack gameplay of it's predecessors, while introducing Reverts, which allowed players to confirm vertical tricks into street tricks, allowing for even more freedom!
The front cover of Don Doko Don for the PC. Engine. It features a clay model of a little gnome guy dressed in red and carrying a wooden mallet.
The HuCARD for Don Doko Don for the PC Engine. It is about the size of a credit card, slightly thicker, and features the same cover art as the front of the box.
Two pages from the manual for Don Doko Don for the PC Engine. These contain the game's story, and feature two illustrations, one of the two gnome-like protagonists, and another of a slightly troubled-looking princess saying "JIM AND BOB HELP ME!"
Two more pages from the manual for Don Doko Don for the PC Engine. These two detail all of the game's enemies, which include mushrooms, rabbits, kings, dragons and caterpillars.
Today's rather late #RandomGameSaturday is Taito's Don Doko Don for the PC Engine! This single-screen platformer occupies the same genre as Bubble Bobble and Parasol Stars, and has similar mechanics to the latter, where you can hit enemies to stun them and then throw them at other enemies.
My son picked the #randomgamesaturday. He picked Soul Calibur V for Xbox 360, which apparently featured Ezio from Assassin’s Creed.

It's #RandomGameSaturday! Here's Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2!
I've not actually played this one but I found it in a charity shop today. Seems someone paid the full £39.99 for it back in the day.
Post a random game from your collection, here on Saturday.

I don’t always post Japanese games! Look!
Anyway, this was probably one of the first PlayStation games I had.

Namco Museum comes off the shelf this week for #RandomGameSaturday, specifically for Dreamcast! There have been countless ports, re-releases and variations of Namco Museum, but you can't go wrong with these compilations of some of the greatest 80s arcade games ever made. #retro #retrogaming #gaming

It’s donkey Kong E and DK jr E.
No one is given enough respect to the e-reader so here it is representing.
My #RandomGameSaturday pick this week is yet another infamous fighting game: Ballz!
But you know what… it’s not THAT bad. Even though this isn’t the best version of it (that’s the 3DO Director’s Cut), the game’s unique graphical style and weird sense of humour make it appealing.
Toro Inoue brings me joy.
Chocobo World, 1999, Square for Sony PocketStation
I used to play the Windows version of Chocobo World in the background for years. I finally was able to find a PocketStation and let my little Choco buddy grind for hours.
The PocketStation is really fun.

Cave Noire (JP Game Boy) from Konami
Cave Noire is pretty crazy. It’s an addictive rogue-like dungeon crawler with a bunch of different missions.
This is a must play on GB. It’s a shame that it had no worldwide release, but can be easily played even without knowing Japanese.
The box
The wealth of goodies found inside the box. Quite a lot!
Cuphead as a Final Fantasy character
Behind-the-scenes look at a cut boss from Cuphead
Today's #RandomGameSaturday is all about Cuphead! Specifically, the Japanese SuperDeluxe physical for Switch! This is a true treasure trove of Cuphead goodness, featuring artwork from the one and only Yoshitaka Amano, behind-the-scenes content, and the soundtrack for the DLC!
Onimusha greatest hits for ps2
For #randomgamesaturday I am presenting Onimusha. Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the North American release for this classic (that I still need to finish). #playstation2 #retrogame
US Tales of Phantasia GBA cartridge.
For #RandomGameSaturday this week I've got Tales of Phantasia for GBA. The psp version recently got a great translation patch, and would you believe I've never played through this far enough to even clear the past segment? So I'm taking some time to do that. It's pretty fun!
