I made the wooden Fleur-de-lis years ago and used it for a stencil template. I did a test print for scale and was satisfied. Now I have a new shape to add to my arsenal. pro tip: using #reclaimed file folders for stencils is a win/win. #art #printmaking #reducereuserecycle #wip #stencils

Blue jean’s refurbished with red flame in the knee area & decorated with small appliqués, including a sun & 2 hearts.

Decided I could keep these jeans out of the landfill a bit longer by re-doing the knee area.
Leaning into the asymmetry. Hoping the cut edges will keep fraying into a tufted “frame.”
