Last week the House was shut down over whether to allow #ProxyVoting for new parents and today, #SpeakerJohnson
and #RepLuna have a deal to resolve the proxy voting situation.

House GOP leadership will try to formalize "vote pairing" which means absent member's vote is not recorded into the tally.

Republicans and Democrats team up to defy House leadership on voting for new parents The House voted to reject a rule that would have blocked Rep. Anna Paulina Luna's bipartisan discharge petition to allow proxy voting for new lawmaker parents.

So, now the majority of #Republicans are showing #America, they don’t care about new mothers or #familyvalues. But, WE KNEW THAT! Only 9 Republicans took a stance with ALL the #Democrats.
