Okay, I really like MikroTik’s #RouterOS for routing. It’s good at that. I’m slowly learning that it could use a lot of improvement in its client functionally… beginning with standards-compliant (and consistent) behaviour from its DNS resolver.

TIL that a peer entry on RouterOS MUST have the /32 interface address of the remote node in its AllowedAddresses or it won't route traffic. It's not sufficient to have a larger block that INCLUDES that /32. The EXACT /32 must be specified.

I've tested the "Apps" feature of the new RouterOS release by @mikrotik
Good job. I can see some use cases for some people. While I still think that a router should be a router, there could be some specific situations that could be managed by this.
