I didn't •mean• to do it, but while going down rabbit holes this week I switched from EVE-NG to #ContainerLab. Took a bit to get the SSH keys and jumps working, but they work. #EdgeShark is amazing, though I had rebuild cshargextcap to properly support mDNS. Write-up will be forthcoming. #NetEng

Diving a bit deeper, may have just found that Cisco has IOS on Linux - IOL that should be able to be used as a container image nicely. Going to work to see how this may interoperate with #Containerlab moving forward.
Just setup a new #containerlab VM and I almost forgot how awesome this piece of software is. More vendors should offer containerised versions of their NOS #networkautomation #devnet #netdevops
Have I missed anything from Cisco about possibly having container images of their systems available yet? Without that, I'm sticking to #arista and #nokia based labs upcoming so I can use #containerlab. What an amazing software available.
Getting some good experience with #Containerlab this morning. Started out doing a few things with Nokia SR Linux. That has some good capabilities to it and I'm looking forward to exploring more with it. But I have switched back to an industry standard syntax w/ Arista and I'm much more comfortable.
Working on setting up a JNCIP-SP lab in #containerlab. L3VPN, VPLS, EVPN etc #juniper
