A Common Chaffinch walking in the grass among the pine cones. It is a medium brown on top with white and brown wings and has lighter underparts. The bird is slightly off center, facing the right-hand of the image, giving us a perfect profile view. At first, I thought this little critter was a pine cones until I took a better look!
