"Yeah, no self-respecting adult says 'where babies come from,'" Estinien has no patience for argument, speaks with authority, "COVER YOUR EARS."
"Yessir..."
Elodie stares at Estinien off to the side. She recognizes that "older sibling" tone; as much Estinien insists not being a suitable "older brother" figure to Alphinaud, he certainly isn't afraid to fill it when opportunity comes.

Estinien pinches the bridge of his nose, attempting to collect his thoughts, "Mayhaps I was too crass; I should have considered my words more carefully."

Elodie stands with her brow furrowed, anticipating another prickly statement.

"What exactly is holding you back?" his gazed is unkind, piercing through her.
He saw right through her, he knew along. Rather than striking at the first opening, he bided his time and struck her in a moment when it would hurt the most.

"I heard from Severa that you have a habit of visiting Terncliff..." Estinien breaks the awkward silence that hangs in the air, "A LOT."

"Is there a point in bringing up my traveling history?" Elodie snorts, well aware that her fellow Dragoon is attempting to make conversation.

"Yeah," Estinien pauses, growing tired of the small talk, he cuts straight to the point, "When are you going o seal the deal & bed the Black Wolf?"

Elodie immediately takes a guarded stance, her face turning bright red. The nerve of this guy!!
"H-HOW DID-!"

"I DO NOT appreciate my 'potential candidates' being the topic of casual gossip!" Elodie stomps towards him with her finger pointed. Her face still bright red; whether it be from anger or embarrassment, it is difficult to say, "It's not for discussion, I FORBID IT!"
