(often unable to make pre-war civilian items due to restrictions/scarce materials)

#SWPC: Overcentralization begets other inefficiencies: workers uprooting their lives into worse living conditions, investments that waste time and material in duplicative efforts.

#SWPC: Small manufacturers are perfectly capable of producing metal pails, kits, and cans, mattresses, water purification equipment, etc. etc.
It makes no sense to tolerate 12 month backlogs at large plants when you could diversify some orders to small plants.
