First Amendment Teach-In · Indivisible Planning to participate in No Kings 3 in Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 28? Learn how to lawfully exercise your First Amendment rights of assembly and speech. Heidi Li Feldman, Professor of Law Emeritus, Georgetown University Law Center, is hosting an informal teach-in for Santa Fe area activists. She will cover the basics of constitutional protections for political speech and assembly. She will also discuss the City of Santa Fe’s approach to closed street marches and sidewalk marches, with a special emphasis on whether the City’s regulations and practices are constitutional. Dr. Feldman is a legal scholar with expertise in civil rights law. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
