#Sculling is therapeutic; it's also radically changed my edging in a #kayak. Over the past few weeks I've revisited some of my older kayaks or ones I pass over, now that I feel more secure heavily edging, to really get a feel for how it works in all of my vessels.

The end of a light colored floating dock, against the dark water of the river. On the corner sits an adult Corn Snake, head raised to catch the rising sun, as well as watching for the rowers who practice here. The snake is a beautifully patterned mix of dark brown/orange squares and chevrons, against a lighter orange body. A bit of white is visible on its throat.

Closeup of the face of O. ventralis - Eastern Glass Lizard. Glossy scales across this entire animal, one of the reasons it's named "Glass". Lower jaw and nose are bright yellow, while upper side is mottled yellow green and dark dark dark brown. Eye is watch the photographer closely - large round black pupil set against a white and orange iris, with prominent eyelid and small ear opening just behind it.
Same lizard but from further away. Some of the body is visible here, maintaining the same glossy and mottled pattern.
