Meetings are more important than you think. Why? Because meetings are central to our being and our understanding of ourselves.

Womanist Tuesday calls us to lead from ancestral wisdom.

Those before us named themselves with intention. That wisdom still moves through us.

What ancestral guidance is shaping who you are becoming today?

Refusing labels isn’t rebellion for its own sake. It’s survival. You stay unpredictable, and that keeps you dangerous in the right ways. #Unboxed #SelfDefinition

I Am A Man By Lancelot In 1968, sanitation workers in Memphis took to the street to strike in response to the denial of their basic civil rights as black workers. Their rallying cry was "I Am A Man." This was a simple statement, but acutely declared and centered these men's humanity in a racist society. Friends, in a world that attempts to define your existence and truncate the magnificence of who you are into stereotypes, tropes, and caricatures, there is often little space for you to define yourself.

In a world that tries to define you, how do YOU define yourself? Inspired by the powerful "I Am A Man" movement of 1968, I'm inviting you to create your own "I Am" statements. Define yourself on your terms. What makes you uniquely you? Share your "I Am" declarations below! #SelfDefinition

I like UX where it cares and chooses what makes sense. I don’t like much the whole data-driven and research-based routine because it’s boring. I think designers should surprise more. #selfdefinition #designcareer

The best skill that is hard to master and that I miss is doing what I like and not doing what I don’t like. Apparently, I have developed too much willpower that helps me tolerate things I shouldn’t. #selfdefinition #designjob #future
