As always, a lot of interesting talks, presentations and conversations with colleagues from authorities, academia and industry at the #SETACVienna 2025 Conference in Vienna, Austria. It was a pleasure of the experts of AGES - Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety to be part of the conference.
Had an incredible time at #SETACVienna this past week. So much impactful toxicological work going on! Being a volunteer meant I could aid all the hard work of SETAC staff. Getting to know and spend time with volunteers, SETAC staff, and ECORISC students during the week made my time even more special

And just like that, #SETACVienna is over. But even on the last day, we had some great talks, with topics such as the transfer of #PFAS in marine mammals, and the fluxes of #bisphenols and #phthalates in the Gulf of Mexico. I'm already looking forward to #SETAC2026!

Marco Baity-Jesi with Eawag discussed AI during Tuesday's plenary at #SETACVienna and concluded it has great potential in #ecotoxicity. He outlined limitations and suggested how they can be overcome.
