Seemingly when I need it the most #Simplenote has stopped syncing my notes between my phone and PC :(

Is there any alternative that is easy to switch all my notes over to?

I need it to be simple and have an app for Android and Linux. Not self hosted, sorry.

Wait, since when was there NO WAY to paste into Simplenote?

Nothing in the right-click menu, Ctrl-V doesn't work, console says "Error: command 'editor.action.clipboardPasteAction' not found"

That's... more than a little deal-breaky.

One glaring example is moving my family tree data from MacFamilyTree to #Gramps. I thought I was gonna be a Mac user forever. Now I’ve seen the light and use Windows and Fedora for all my computing needs.

Another is migrating notes from Apple Notes to #Simplenote.

I've not strayed from the Nazi takeover of America's government & attempted destruction of its Institutions, but Microsoft now controls #Simplenote on the PC.
This happened in just the past week & it's dramatic. I don't install any app downloaded from the #microsoft app store. It's modified w\Ai 😡

I already stopped using #Google calendar and Google drive and using #proton instead.

Still need to move my stuff off Google keep (using #simplenote now) and move email entirely to proton, but I'm on my way to do so. #FuckGoogle.

I have tried a LOT of #NoteTaking and #PKM applications:

#AppFlowy
#Anytype
#QOwnNotes
#OneNote
#SimpleNote

And I keep coming back to #Joplin again and again and again for its simplicity, it's transparency, and data portability.

Experimenting with Fleeting Notes as a replacement for #Simplenote for my new mobile quick add #Obsidian inbox. It touts native integration, and syncs across multiple devices if you need. Gonna give it good old fashioned college try and see how it goes.
