The image features a Halloween-themed vinyl display built around a Technics turntable. A vivid red-and-white splatter vinyl is spinning on the platter, and the center label confirms it is the Shaun of the Dead soundtrack, tying into the horror-comedy theme.
Behind the turntable is a retro-style “More Days Till Halloween” countdown poster (inspired by Halloween III: Season of the Witch), with “11” written in the countdown circle. The poster is decorated with cartoonish Halloween characters — a pumpkin-head trick-or-treater and a little skeleton — keeping things festive and playful.
On the right side of the setup sits a bright red Shaun of the Dead gatefold vinyl sleeve, featuring a chaotic scene of a crowd and smoke rising from buildings — a nod to the zombie uprising from the film. Next to it is a box set of Spaced, the TV series that also starred Simon Pegg and was created with Edgar Wright, making it a fun companion piece for fans.
On the left edge of the frame are several miniature guitar collectibles, adding a musical accent to the overall display. The shelf beneath the turntable is lined with vinyl records, rounding out the music-lover’s atmosphere.

The whole scene has a cohesive vibe: Halloween season + vinyl collecting + Edgar Wright fandom, presented in a clean, stylish, and deliberately curated way.
This movie was such a great surprise. I saw it in its first month of release before the hype. When I learned it was inspired by an episode of Spaced I grabbed that immediately and I highly recommend both.
