When I say "here", I don't mean Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough aka CDN-NDG in general, because there a good number of #SpeedBumps in #CDNNDG, as well as zebre stripe #PedestrianCrosswalks, I mean the intersection of de Maisonneuve & Grand Boulevard.

Speaking of #SpeedBumps being "a sign of an organized neighborhood", that mean neighbors (to say nothing of politicians. . .) "cared enough to do something", my neighborhood's city councillor has yet to install a #SpeedBump or even a zebra stripe crosswalk here.

My experience differs from yours.
In other areas of #Montreal most drivers respect zebra stripe pedestrian crosswalks, but that was my minimum suggestion-demand. I also proposed installing #SpeedBumps, sidewalk extensions, traffic lights or flashing lights on the #STOPsigns, & #SPVM ticketing etc.
