Are these three supposed to be homages to the Spider-Friends? Cause that definitely seems like what they're going for with the designs and colors.
Plus, it definitely seems like something Man of Action would do. #Ben10 #SpiderFriends

Spider who lives outside my office window. I don’t know how s/he makes it work either!
I hope you’re finding plenty of tasty bugs up here on the 25th floor, bud.

Teeny weeny little jumping spider who has taken up residence in the bathroom. It’s black and white and cute all over.
I made a new friend this morning while preparing for the commute (ie, brushing my teeth).
It didn’t want to give me its name, but it was very adorable and small.

Nomisia sp. ♀ The spider is seen frontally but from a high perspective, so as to see the whole body. The color varies from light gray to beige, with whitish spots on the opisthosoma. The legs are long and robust, with some black spines.
Nomisia sp. ♀ seen from above. The color varies from light gray to beige, with whitish spots on the opisthosoma. The dividing line between the prosoma and the opisthosoma appears black. The legs are long and robust, with some black spines.
Setaphis sp. ♂ The image is a little out of focus and the details of the spider are not very clearly visible, but you can appreciate the elongated body of almost black color and the legs that have the peculiarity of being black near the body and almost orange on the tarsus and part of the metatarsus. The first pair of legs, moreover, is slightly more robust than the others. It's a very fast spider!
Two #Gnaphosidae
Photo 1 & 2: Nomisia sp. ♀ was a goog model🥰
Photo 3: Setaphis sp. (♂ ?) was not cooperative and I had to take the photo while chasing it, it was so fast!

Photo of a giant house spider sitting on a wall. It's mostly dark brown with some light markings on its body. It's quite hairy, and two bright eyes are lit up by the camera's flash.
Jeepers Creepers where'd you get those beepers? 👀
I think this is a female Eratigena atrica. The males are less sturdy with longer legs. These spiders are big but harmless. My cat loves to chew off their legs - quite cruel (and gross). 😝

Perfect model! ❤️ #spiderfriends
Synema globosum, Thomisidae, is one of the species of spiders commonly known as "crab spiders", due to their morphology and typical position, with the first two pairs of legs larger and longer and always kept paired, which makes them look just like a crab; but it also has its own nickname: napoleon spider, due to the black pattern on its back that resembles the famous silhouette of Napoleon with his hat. Apart from the black silhouette, the color of the opisthosoma can vary from white to bright red, with all shades of yellow and orange in between.

Pisaura cf. mirabilis ♀ Pisauridae among the thorns of a wild thistle plant. It's a large spider of no medical relevance to humans, despite its moderate size. It has a dark brown fishbone pattern on the back of its abdomen and a "tuft" of hair on the front of its prosoma.

Specimen of some kind of Xysticus , Thomisidae, snacking on some little bug on a pink cistus flower. The flower petals have been badly nibbled by other insects and large portions are missing.
Close up of a specimen of some kind of Xysticus, Thomisidae, snacking on some little bug on a pink cistus flower.
The cistus plants are in full bloom and their melliferous flowers are loved by many insects, both pollinators and non-pollinators (its honey is a delicacy for us too).
This Xysticus sp., Thomisidae, took advantage of this 😁

Cyclosa sp. with a line of junk attached vertically in the middle of the web. In the center of this line and the web, is the spider with its 8 legs all gathered close to the body, so as to camouflage itself with the junk. The abdomen of this species has a peculiar shape, with a protuberance on the dorsal apex.

These spiders decorate their webs with various junk so as to be mistaken for junk themselves and to confuse potential predators, not the prey. They are quite aesthetically beautiful spiders.

Entrance to a spider's burrow, located in the crack between two stones of a fence. The outside, all around the entrance hole, is covered with a thick irregular web with a retreat tube, which covers the inside walls of the dark tunnel at the bottom of which the spider is located (not visible in the photo). Drops of water shine on the outer web. This has the task of trapping any prey that steps on it; the vibrations caused by the captured insect alert the spider, which comes out of the tunnel and pounces on the prey.
Hello? In there anyone home?
I know you're there watching me from the shadows 😏

Opisthosoma of a spider of the genus Araneus, whose patterns and colors exactly resemble foliose lichens. The spider is curled up in the scales of a tree bark, on which moss and lichen are also visible, making the spider's camouflage effective.

Nothing to see, here 😏 just the usual moss and lichen... Lichen with LEGS? And eyes?🤨
Better take another look.

Female of Icius sp., a spider belonging to the Salticidae family. The specimen has its head turned towards the camera, which allows us to appreciate the chelicerae, which are rust-colored, and the typical large and frontal eyes of jumping spiders; which, being active hunters that do not spin webs, need excellent and wide vision to locate prey.
Female of Icius sp. seen from above. The dominant colors on its back are rusty red and brown on a beige base. The chelicerae are rust-colored.
I found a friend waiting for me when I came back from work 🥰

A very small (about 4 mm body lenght) jumping spider, Heliophanus sp., searching for prey among the grass leafes. Its body is black with white little spots and a white line across the proximal part of the abdomen.

Young bright red fly agaric with irregularly distributed white warty spots in the woods surrounded by pine cones, leaves, sticks and little plants. A spider web is attached to the mushrooms left side, the spider itself is visible sitting in its web on the very left in the photo. There are large trees in the background.
