At 4:15 PM, trained spottersG7 reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain with 1–2 inches already fallen, and another 1–2 inches possible. Flash flooding is either ongoing or expected shortly. Hazards include flash flooding of creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, and low-lying zones. Specific locations listed include: Southaven, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Memphis, Walls, Whitehaven, Southwest Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Southeast Memphis, Lynchburg, Plum Point, Parkway Village, Capleville, White Station, Jago, and Twin Lakes. Affected counties are DeSoto, MS and Shelby, TN.
