The Internet and You: Cybersecurity and Ethics for the Tech Illiterate

I believe that understanding how something works allows you a better chance at utilizing it effectively and protecting yourself and others from harm regarding it. In this case, that “it” is the Internet, a shorthand version of interconnected networks.
The first working version of a interconnected network was specifically used by the US Department of Defense called ARPANET. Short for Advanced Research Projects Agency Network, ARPANET was in use from 1969 to 1980 before it was purchased and renamed Defense Data Network (DDN) which was in use from 1983 to 1995 and accessed by the United States and Israel- of course. 🙄
