ALWAYS! There is language and cognition and COMMUNICATION in everything! Early in my #telepractice career, I was “reprimanded” for my therapy space because it wasn’t a blank or plain backdrop. But I have found that careful curation of my wall/shelves renders interest and far greater engagement. 💚
I always encourage movement in my #telepractice sessions - just because we're online, doesn't mean we need to have developmentally inappropriate expectations!
