If there's any book you can read this February it should be The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin. This book is my introduction to James Baldwin and his writing is absolutely incredible. This book is just as extremely important today as it was then.

#TheFireNextTime wasn't so much of a difficult read as it was an emotional one. It brought to a boil a myriad of complex emotions that had been simmering for a while. Baldwin's eloquence helped solidify and give form to feelings that ranged from fear and helplessness, to outrage and incredulity. 1/3
