In Chris Hayes' book about the attention economy he uses the word 'enshitification' - when companies buy the right to be top of search results. I see this too with Google Maps. I type in Marugame and the top results are Marugame Udon. And not even real Sanuki udon but the chain stuff. #TheSirensCall
