I'm Mechkura/Ash and I run The Dicepool Tavern! I create multiple worlds, usually contactable somehow alongside one another but currently my focus is on #Vethera. It is a world similar to Earth, but not quite the same.

Not really! #Vethera is mostly modelled after Earth anyway, especially in the modern era. So it's hard to say what is generally different and what isn't, since everyone's points of view are different anyways 🤔 generic moral questions are hard 🫣🤯

Another company today! Metralo Media Megacorp, or MMM or Triple M for short, use the colour purple for their branding. They own 90% of media outlets worldwide and are basically the #Vethera version of Google. #WitchChild features MMMaps for example instead of google maps

CyberGuard is a green megacorp seen frequently in my writings around #Vethera because it's... Well, Matrix style! Classic computer code bright green.
Featherfall Forest in Escario is a much more natural representation of green as a colour though ^^
Whenever I have to do the garden I always think "I wish Victor or Isaac would do this for me..."
Because they would.
They live for plants.

Sonsari, the capital of Escario (you'd be forgiven for thinking Arondale was for how much I talk about it lol) is like Twilight Town from Kingdom Hearts - it constantly catches the suns rays and bathes the city in sunrise/sunset hues. Primarily gold.

The original #AeonCity ( #PenitentStorm ) was all grey, rain and neon blue lights both lit and powered the city, so I associate all multiverse versions of Aeon City with Blue.
And Water and Spirit! So the Water temple, Diara, Manson, Biomar, Isaac, Jason etc #Vethera

Something Red? RYDER! 🤣 Nah but also since the Realm of Demonus is basically just Hell, there's a lot of red there too. Fleshy kind of red though so it does broaden into the purple zone too.

Metralo is basically Night City (Asian+American)
Aeon City is straight up Gotham/San Francisco (American!)
Dunraven and Vivafell overall are Aussie
Hetar is the UK basically.
And Central #Vethera is the magic Amazon 😅
A couple of years and then from the ashes new societies rise where Metralo has done a power grab amidst the revolutions of other countries against royal powers and then those companies drove development from there.
Technically some do have "slaves", via debt. Like IOI in Ready Player One #Vethera

Yes to all three! Though only hospitals have an actual placement in history. Carimescar, pre-destruction, was known as the home of the Mercies. These were people who would perform medical treatments for others during the fantasy and mediaeval stages of #Vethera (1/5)

Before the central countries of #Vethera (Escario+Carimescar) were ruined, they contained the main trade roads. Escario even had a port city, Arondale, which was famous worldwide (The circular city). Metralo however always had to take a unique approach to(1/?)

Continuing on with the duels, most schools follow the technique rather than "go big or go home" with their fighters. They'll have year level competitions (that can be opted out of!) to find the best fighters before they go up against other schools. #Vethera #Hetar

For the duels, you can use whatever equipment you've been trained to fight with. Certain attack combinations will determine the area of the bout (such as meteorhammer or bow) but you can have all sorts of weapon vs weapon and situations for competitions #Vethera

Valerie plays both Basketball and Football (soccer), but there are a few online team games that have become eSports also (capture the flag and shooter styles) - #WitchChild
There are also combat teams for the duels in Hetar, similar to how Kendo can have teams #Vethera

If eSports count, then Valerie briefly mentions being a semi-finalist in an online TCG (but she doesn't go.) TCG is viciously competitive - #WitchChild

Mostly shacks and tents made of whatever scraps people can find. But the smart ones found the caves, and hide themselves down there so the terrifying idiots upstairs don't find them. Some caves have natural water sources, so word of them doesn't spread much. #Vethera

#Vethera has a desert country called Asunder. It's been ravaged by war, with bushland to the south, swamp/tropics to the NW and Metralo in the north. The pirate City is also north but not easily- (1/2)

Thanks to Electra, #Vethera doesn't think of "Darkness" as something to control. It's more "Light or absence thereof" when it comes to magic powers. But it's not one of the major elements either, since that is Fire (Plasma) instead ^^

The tunnels beneath Aeon City and the Water Temple are fairly dark.
The Earth Temple and the secret passages in the Hetar Castle are too.
The unknown centre of Modern #Vethera has many dark areas but it's unknown to all.
Metralo is full of dark evil alleys to lurk in~

Sun, stars, moon, electricity and lightning (both Electra things!) as well as bioluminescence and chemiluminescence!
Some magical items will take on a faint sheen of light or glow property.
And there are feylits, small floating orbs of light as a magic spell #Vethera 😌
Usually I write a lot about light and dark but this one almost stumped me for #Vethera
There's also Akeno who represents the sun, and the reason why humans prefer to be awake in the day (society wise) but he was also a playboy and manipulative lover 🤔 many associate him with light thanks to Electra
