Bought myself a treat in a second hand book shop. It is very much a wartime edition, full of make do and mend, and a whole chapter in knitting for the forces. Lets see if I can find a follow on pattern to Up To Your Neck. #VintagePatterns

There are subtle differences in these patterns. Neither quite fits me right. I know how to adjust the 7740 (yellow dress), but maybe the 7717 (white dress) is more interesting? Dunno, but I think one of them is the right choice for the cats. #Sewing #VintagePatterns

Spent a well-earned Saturday tracing, adjusting and cutting out pattern pieces. Trying out working on multiple projects at the same time, and taking a less rigid approach to sewing. Both the swing jacket and dress have a March deadline to finish, so we'll see what happens 😁
