A Roman cobbled path alongside a wall of basalt columns.
A Roman bridge over a river.
It’s always great fun when we do a recce. One of our groups want to visit some examples of #volcanic #geology, so we checked out the basaltic flow at Jaujac – clear basalt columns, the looming volcano the ancient flow erupted from, plus Roman paths and bridges as well. We're already excited.
