I'm live in a wooded neighborhood in the 'burbs. Usually on a weekend afternoon there are mowers and chippers and blowers going on. Today though is a gift. Beautifully breezy and sunny and quiet. Just. Blissful.

The sculpture captures the knight's idealism and melancholy, in Spanish this sculpture is called ''Don Quijote Sentado''. The sculpture is part of the open air exhibit of 10 bronze sculptures by Salvador Dali on the Avenida del Mar in Marbella.

A variety of QUARANTINE signs on display at the Jerome, AZ history museum. A red brick wall holds rectangular signs, each about twice or three-times as big as a brick, that are various shades of ecru, yellow and orange. Some of the signs are just disease names in all caps: CHICKEN POX, SMALL POX, ERYSIPELAS, DIPTHERIA, WHOOPING COUGH, MEASLES. Others are meant to be notices of quarantine status placed on a home or building to prohibit entry: QUARANTINE NOTICE! INFLUENZA, etc., followed by smaller text listing the prohibited action.

Photo of two birdfeeders... a squirrel is sitting in the one on the left munching down on sunflower seeds. He isn't the least bit bothered by the large woodpecker swooping in to land on the other feeder a few inches away on the right. A Carolina Wren in the second feeder has just picked up a meal worm as the woodpecker suddenly arrives.
I almost made it before midnight!
