Clip from an article in The Observer that says almost exactly what I said in my post. It is really only here for supporting evidence, since The Observer has ceased to be a serious newspaper since its takeover by Tortoise Media. Tortoise has gutted it, filling it with photos in place of incisive journalism. To add insult to injury, it has also seen its second price increase this year - 5% in February or March, and 7% today. That’s a hefty surcharge for a reduction in service and a loss of quality. Anyway, those are my thoughts. I love alt text. I can add my thoughts in a stream of consciousness, rather than having to edit assiduously as I do for my actual posts.
