Besides being excellent films/horrors - I return to #28DaysLater for Selena, to #TalkToMe for Mia, to #DoctorSleep for Abra & #AQuietPlaceDayOne for Samira. In each film, if you "reduced" it to a drama without VFX, I believe the drama: desire to fit in, to protect oneself, to be home would be strong
In the best horrors, if you remove the supernatural and make it a drama, it still works. So. Any film/horror with a protag that reminds me of me, that is beautifully shot will captivate me. A new Comfort Horror
