The creature is done in a dark olive pencil linework, and the eyes done in a bright honey orange. The background color varies in different robin egg’s blues, with variance in saturation levels to see how the colors interact with each other.

A little experiment with some felt pen spots, adding soft pastels and then black ink. I'm enjoying the way the pastels repel the ink. After some drying I added more pen. Keep experimenting

Having a play with some Epsom salts, water and inks. The salts melted, like they are meant to! But there were some clumps left on this one, so I scraped the chunks off with a knife, which scuffed the paper. Keep experimenting!
