Updated: housing push reality sinks in with 270 home development approved and another 340 in prospect #Ashtead With one big development confirmed and extra traffic not the showstopper some had assumed, where will the access to the potential 340 homes on the Ermyn House site be? The highways advice may be a bit of a shock but it’s consistent across the county and in line with national policy to be less car centric. Hence the on demand bus (already available to book) and car club as conditions of the first approval.

Last week, I met with constituents in Ashtead who were worried about what the Government's proposed disability cuts would mean for them.

While I'm glad they will retain their Personal Independence Payments, they deserve an apology from the Prime Minister.

MISSING DOG WATSON escaped last night 7 June 2025 appx 7pm in #Ashtead #KT21. He’s an Italian greyhound & was last seen around Clay Lane (Headley) & then fled to a footpath. He’s not from the area & is probably very hungry
