Every once in a while I go back and search #askagent and answer a few questions. So I'm usually late to the game, but I'm around. I'm also open to receiving questions directly if you ever want to reach out and ask something. Within reason, of course.
Can I say I'm a children's book author/illustrator when I only illustrate my own non-fiction and how-to books, not #PB stories? I do write MG and PBs. Do #LiteraryAgents for author/illustrators only ever want artists for PB stories? What else should I call myself?

I changed ONE LINE in my first chapter to drop the hook faster and with more of an oomph and now I'm fretting that I screwed up all the queries I submitted previously... #askagent should I bother resubmitting?
I plan to open this fall, probably for a few weeks, and then close for the holidays to catch up on what does come in. It will probably be late October / early November. Anyway, thanks to any of you who have (or are considering) trusting me with your work.

Are publishers still interested in queer manuscripts? Especially spicy ones? Are they bothering to look at them? With the increasing censorship of queer media, I don't even know if my (and other's) work will find a home. It's so discouraging.
