Question!!!
I was reading an explanation for “drown”.
So if I say “She drowned in the river”, does this mean she died already?
In Japanese, we say 溺れる for drown but it doesn’t imply that the person dies… :o

Studying about how to use “would”. I understood the explanations but it’s still confusing.
I need to think about when I don’t need “have”.
Like “I tried to warm him, but he wouldn’t listen to me” instead of “…, but he wouldn’t *have* listened to me” :o

Studying about “must, mustn’t and needn’t”.
Do you say “needn’t” instead of “don’t need to”? Is it a text way or British way to say…? I haven’t really attention but I feel like I’ve never heard it… :o At least, I’ve never used it…

Question👀
1. If they paid me better, I *might* work harder.
2. If they paid me better, I *would* work harder.
Does 1 mean that I’m not sure to work harder but it sounds like… might as well? On the other hand, 2 means I’m going to work harder…?

Okay, I know you don’t say “People’ll” as “people will”. Do you not say “it’ll” as “it will”?
In the answer section, “it” is always written as “it will” while other subjects like “she” is written “she will / she’ll” in the both of forms.

I’m doing v.s. I’m gonna do
So I learned that “I am doing” is used for something that is already arranged while “I am going to do” is for something that you’ve decided to do it.
