You nailed it. It's really sad that so many people waste so much time on it. They could use their imagination and find that everything they've come up with—and I mean everything—has already been done.
I've watched porn twice in my life; the first time with a bunch of school friends of all genders, the first of whom to turn 18 being sent to the adult section of the video store (I'm a fossil:). There was an animated film and one with live actors.
I wasn't impressed. The second and last time I watched porn was in a cinema with my lover four years later. And we didn't go just for the porn. However, it was empty, and instead of sizzling eroticism with the thrill of the forbidden or watching others, we practiced film criticism. But we had a lot of fun. My lover and I read erotic literature aloud and told each other what we found particularly exciting.
IMO, the most important sexual organ is located between the ears. I wasn't impressed by porn because it didn't live up to my wild imagination. And the public library also had erotic literature, and then I devoured Anaïs Nin and Henry Miller, read Donatien Alphonse François de Sade's 'Justine,' and that's why I know that all those infamous sadistic serial killers are just very poor imitators.
If you've cultivated the ability to come through extensive practice before falling asleep, even as a fossil, you can still achieve orgasm without physical contact, simply through arousing thoughts. I don't reject orgasms through touch either; That's why I've never had trouble sleeping.
