I saw this superb HO model of Union Pacific (UP) 7098 at the San Francisco Bay Area’s Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet (BAPM) in Richmond, CA on Saturday, June 21, 2025. According to my notes, this model was built by Scott Bates. The real UP 7098 is a GE AC44CW. Reportedly it was built in 1997, serial number 50516.

I saw this superb HO model of Union Pacific 7098 at the San Francisco Bay Area’s Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet (BAPM) in Richmond, CA on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
According to my notes, model was built by Scott Bates.

An HO model, by Bob Pires, of Southern Pacific (SP) 2404 was at the The San Francisco Bay Area’s Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet (BAPM) in Richmond, CA on Saturday, June 21, 2025. This is a Finest Quality Models body with 3D printed details. The real SP 2407 was an ALCo C-415, SP Class AS415-1. Reportedly: it was built in 1966, builder's number 3458-5. It was sold in 1979.
