The Bath Half Marathon (known locally as the "Bath Half") took place today and so the heraldic word of the day has to be "courant"...running at speed. Ran the Bath Half. Chaos at the start with inaudible announcements and confusion about waves. Weather all over the place, too: sun, wind and icy spots of rain. That final hill was tricky, but I got up it. Incredible crowd support. Managed my third best HM time. #Running #BathHalf

I tried for a sub-2:30 HM for years then finally got 2:25:30 last month. #bathhalf today and 02:17:24! Very happy. And look at my negz! Look at them!! Yes I know I dropped off a bit at the very end but some sadist put a hill right in the bloody way #running #runningpunks

I remember Bath Half going ahead in 2020 on covid shutdown weekend - I was set to do Fleet Half on the same day and it was cancelled the night before, much to my wife's relief - she was pretty cross that I was prepared to run it.

Huge congratulations to all of our students who ran or volunteered at the #BathHalf Marathon in March!
64 volunteers helped raise £200 for the student volunteering group, V Team. And 20 runners raised an impressive £5,184 for The SU Bath's Raise and Give (RAG) charities.
A big part of events like Bath Half Marathon are the runners taking part to raise money and awareness for charities and good causes.

Bath Half Marathon today. Manage a time of 2h11. Which is very slow for me. But I’ve been off running for 3 weeks post injury. So all things considered. Fairly happy with that.

Karolina will attempt to become the first deaf-blind person to climb Mount Everest next year.

What a glorious day to get out on the trails. Last long run before the #bathhalf in two weeks and what a fabulous one. Had to walk some of the hills but feel it did me some good for running on the flat. Gutted the cafe at the end had sold out of cake though😱 #trailrunning #running

4 weeks until the Bath Half Marathon and I’ve got my distance back up to 10 miles. Couple of hills in there too. Just need to add a parkrun on to that distance and we’re there. Aiming for 2:15 although 2:20 would be a PB. That feels doable based on this time #runthebath #bathhalf #halfmarathon
