This photo was taken outdoors, late morning, in the shade. We see a small, red tea rose resting in a vintage Eastern Airlines shot glass. A few green rose leaves surround the flower. In the background is a brownish blur of top soil and mulch.
This experimental photo of a red rose is my (failed) attempt to "Tame the Red." Used a polarizer. Shot in the shade, and underexposed in a variety of multiple ways : ISO, f-stop, and shutter speed.
