You take your usual shortcut down a back alley next to an old comic book store. You’ve heard the rumors and old wives’ tales about that shop and the supposedly horrific acts that took place there, but that stuff is just meant to scare kids, right? As you head down the alleyway, just like you’ve done hundreds of times before, something feels different this time. The air is heavy, carrying a strong metallic smell. Halfway down the alley, you stop dead in your tracks. There she is—standing in the side entrance to the old comic book shop. Her clothes are covered in blood, her long black hair hangs in matted strands, and in her hand is the sharpest knife you’ve ever seen. A thick, dark red coats the blade. One panicked thought races through your mind: it’s just a story... right?
