Closeups of two handmade Zwirknopf buttons - one in blue stripes surrounded by rose, and filled in with green. The front button is rose stripes, green wraps, and filled in with sky blue. 18 wraps per button, and a bit of yellow backstitching in the centre of each. They are sewn back to back on the top of the bookmark. The bookmark has tasseled ends, where the end of the warp was secured by stitching and then the end threads left to hang 1.5".
I made a watch strap...but ended up finishing off the short warp into a phone case strap (neither pictured) and then this bookmark.
Zwirknopf buttons in the same 8/2 cotton as the band, matching styles but coordinating colours to go w/both sides.
