I ended up with a double spoke on the colour change,which I treated as a single spoke, but knowing I was going to do a full coverage in the middle this wasn’t a problem. Fiddly but worth it. #DorsetButton 5/5

Dorset button in royal blue and fuchsia. There is almost a spiral effect in the pattern, with the outer of the ring being cast half and half in both colours. There is no contrast when it comes to the spokes, which are formed by being wrapped around the outer ring.
Experiment in Dorset Button Making: I have been wanting to play around with with making a two tone Dorset Button for a while now, but I wanted the casting and the spokes to match, but I also wanted the casting to be multi-coloured. #DorsetButton 1/5

The second one was easier. I think both because it was the second one, but also I actually used the correct needle this time after my Joann's run.

I made a Dorset Crosswheel button today as it's a fiber goal this year. I could have done a few more rounds in the center of the ring, but I ran out of thread. I want to learn enough so I can make some thread shawl pins from Pat Olski's book.
