White ground painted in red, yellow, blue and grey with two kilted Scotsmen, one with a musket and the other playing the bagpipes, in the centre of the plate, four scrollwork cartouches around the rim enclosing birds on flowering branches

Catalogue (lightly edited): 'The figures in the centre depict a piper and a private from the 42nd Regiment of Foot, a predecessor to the famous Black Watch. The source print of the piper is discussed by David Sanctuary Howard, 'Chinese Porcelain of the Jacobites - I', Country Life, January 25, 1973. Howard notes that the piper was taken from an engraving by George Brickham and published in A Short History of the Highland Regiment, London, 1743; and the private was also after a drawing by Brickham of the same date. Members of the regiment deserted the Stuart cause, and on July 18, 1743, Privates Samuel, Farquar Shaw, Malcolm McPherson were executed at the Tower for the mutiny, and a Piper Macdonnel was sent to Georgia [in America] as a convict. These men were seen as Jacobite martyrs, and memorialized on plates and punch bowls bearing these figures.'

Pastel portrait of the prince in gun-metal armour, blue Garter sash and Thistle jewel suspended on a ribbon, arm extended to the sitter’s right but head turned towards the viewer. White, short wig. Rather amused, almost supercilious expression in the prince’s face. By Maurice Quentin de la Tour (c1747/48), dating from the time the prince was serving in the French army and the last depiction of him not in the robes of a cardinal. This portrait was long thought to be of Henry Benedict's elder brother Charles Edward until Bendor Grosvenor conclusively demonstrated in 2009 that it represents the spare not the heir of Jacobite hopes. Sold at Christie's in 1994, now in the collection of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Image © National Galleries Scotland

Lines etched on a window at Wingate’s Inn, Stirling, 26 August 1787
Robert Burns

Here Stewarts once in triumph reign’d,
And laws for Scotland’s weal ordain’d;
But now unroof’d their Palace stands,
Their Sceptre’s fall’n to other hands;
Fall’n indeed, and to the Earth
Whence grovelling reptiles take their birth.
The injur’d STEWART-line are gone,
A Race outlandish fills their throne:
An idiot race, to honour lost—
Who know them best despise them most.

In Stirling, possibly while fu, Robert Burns wrote these lines on a window at Wingate’s Inn, Stirling. In 1787 this kind of anti-Hanoverian #poem could be seen as treasonous, & he went back later & smashed the glass – but not before someone had copied it down

I Murder Hate
Robert Burns

I murder hate by flood or field,
Tho’ glory’s name may screen us;
In wars at home I’ll spend my blood—
Life-giving wars of Venus.
The deities that I adore
Are social Peace and Plenty;
I’m better pleas’d to make one more,
Than be the death of twenty.

I would not die like Socrates,
For all the fuss of Plato;
Nor would I with Leonidas,
Nor yet would I with Cato:
The zealots of the Church and State
Shall ne’er my mortal foes be;
But let me have bold Zimri’s fate,
Within the arms of Cozbi!

In 1787, Robert Burns acquired a diamond-tipped pen which he used to inscribe poems on windows & chimney-pieces across Scotland. “I Murder Hate” is Burns’s version of “make love, not war” #graffiti, & was etched into a window at the Globe Tavern, Dumfries

A comic of drip

It opens with it flying towards the reader as a voice, the supreme kai of time's voice speaks to it through its mind, "You're nearing the target. prepare yourself.."

It smirks. remarking, "You know.. its not like you to send me out on a mission without a chaperone. Just how bad did things get."

Supreme kai of time replies somberly, "You'll see.." Which causes drip's eye to open slightly. it stops and stares in shock at the scene. future gohan in the awakened beast form standing powerfully over a beaten 17 whos slumped over a rock and behind him is a wounded android 18.

The supreme kai of time warns drip, "You probably dont need me to tell you this but... we Can't let trunks know about this..."

Drip laughs. Eye open manically as it cant help but smirk mischeviously.

"No way"

they say while laughing. Cauing gohan and 18 to notice its pressence.

"You want me... to kill.. GOHAN!?"
